Wow, there's a Waldorf Microwave I in the rack!Īn organization receives money the money goes into accounts the accounts limit how the money can get spent.
it is marketed to those who don't know what a synth is or how to program a synth or even that an electronic keyboard can be altered as far as the sounds are concernedConfirmed to me by our local Yamaha head-honcho, so. it's programmability is laughable as is the key action (considering price).
it's aimed squarley at the home guys who see the price and assume it's better than the lower priced things that also say yamaha on them. The thing is the market for the tyros is not the same market for the motif. it is marketed to those who don't know what a synth is or how to program a synth or even that an electronic keyboard can be altered as far as the sounds are concerned It's actually a decent sounding instrument, however the asking price is so far out of whack for what you get as to leave one the impression it's manufactured inside a unibody shell crafted from the purest unobtainium. The motif is the flagship for the workstation keyboards and they have flagship products in the real piano, clavinovas, organs, etc. it is the flagship product for the home / arranger line of keyboards. Ummm no the tyros is not the flagship product for all yamaha keyboards and synths. If, however, you are more interested in sound design and synthesis, then look elsewhere.Īlso, if your only exposure to home-keyboards / arrangers is the lower-end machines, then by all means have a go at a Tyros. If you're a keyboard player, it's a great machine. Tyros-series is the flagship product for all Yamaha keyboards and synths.
